The spotting location I have used to create my videos is shown below. While there may be other locations available, the one below is the location I have used to film my YouTube videos.
I have used only one location when making videos at East Midlands and it is alongside the perimeter fence on the mound at the southeastern side of the airport.

How to get here
This location can only be accessed by car and then on foot. There is plenty of space to park your car in the lane off the A453. You then need to walk around the airport perimeter until you reach the mound. This location allows great shots if aircraft are arriving on Runway 27.
