The spotting location I have used to create my videos is shown below. While there may be other locations available, the one below is the location I have used to film my YouTube videos.
The only spotting location I have used so far at City Airport is the area and walkway that is next to an office building and on the northern side of the Royal Albert Dock. The walkway is directly opposite and parallel to the runway and this location offers an unobstructed view of the whole airport.

How to get here
This location is easily accessed by public transport. It is directly opposite the Royal Albert Docklands Light Railway station.
